Police Investigation Department Detains Three Children in Beit Hanoun

At around midday on Sunday 1 September 2013, police investigation department detained ‘Attaiya Ahmed Al Kafarna, 14; Hasan Hamed Abu Oda, 15; and Mohammed Mazen Al Kafarna, 17, from their homes at Al Amal neighborhood in Beit Hanoun.
At around 2:00 pm on the same day, the police referred them to the internal security apparatus office in Jabaliya.
At around 5:00 pm on the same day, the apparatus released them.
In their affidavits to Al Mezan, the children parents stated that the police detained them without arrest warrants and their children were interrogated without their presence.
The interrogatione were about some leaflet for Tamarod protest movement that the children have found in front of their schools and gave it to their teachers.
