IOF Fires on Palestinian Farmers in North Gaza District

At approximately 4:30 pm on Sunday 9 October 2011, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened sporadic fire on Palestinian farmers, who were in their fields in the “access-restricted area” (also called the “security buffer zone”) in the north of Beit Lahiya.
  No casualties or injuries were reported, but farmers were terrified and abandoned their fields.
