9 October 2011
At approximately 7:00 am on Sunday 9 October 2011, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened sporadic fire on Palestinian farmers tending their lands near the “access-restricted area” (also called the “security buffer zone”) in the Abu Samra area, in the north of Beit Lahyia.
No casualties or injuries were reported, but the farmers were terrified and abandoned their fields.
