MoI Shuts Down Al Baqiyat As-Salihat Islamic Society in North Gaza District

At around midday on Thursday 7 April 2011, a force from the internal security apparatus broke into the office of the ‘Al Baqiyat As-Salihat’ Islamic Society which is located near the market in Mashrou' neighborhood in Beit Lahyia town in North Gaza district.
The force orally ordered the society's director to evacuate the office.
Then the force closed the society's office, an adjacent center for reciting Quran owned by the society, and the Fathi Asheqaqi Forum, which is also belongs to the society and is located opposite the Ezadin Al-Qassam mosque.
