A 13-Year-Old Child Injured by IOF near Erez Crossing

1pm on Monday 5 July 2010, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF)  opened fire on Palestinian civilians who were 600 meters away from the separation fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
These civilians were collecting rubble near the destroyed industrial area at Erez crossing in the North Gaza District.
As a result, Ahmed Nafiz Hamdan, 13, was injured by a bullet in the abdomen.
According to medical sources at Kamal Odwan Hospital, his injuries are described as moderate.
Hamdan, his relatives and neighbors usually collect rubble after finishing their school.
