IOF Demolishes Civilian House East Deir el-Balah

A special force of the IOF penetrated nearly 400 meters into Abu Hamam area in Deir el-Balah at around 20:15 on Tuesday, 4 November 2008.
The force surrounded a three-story house owned by Hassan Salman al-Hamidi, 52, which contains 4 households.
The force also broke into the house of Mufeed Salman Arrmili, 44, and converted it into a military post.
The force used loud speakers to order the residents of al-Hamidi house to get outside the house.
It stormed into the house under a cover of heavy fire, injuring Haneen Saleh al-Hamidi, 22, who was transferred into Israel for medical treatment.
After a couple of hours, a number of military vehicles, including a giant bulldozer, penetrated into the area with the support of a gunship.

The force planted a number of explosive devices inside the house and pulled it down at around 3:00am, on Wednesday, 5 November 2008.
The explosion also damaged a number of neighboring houses.
Bulldozers razed the house's rubble to the ground.
They also razed the house surroundings, including olive trees.
They also swept away a Subaru, a water well, a poultry farm and a motorcycle.
The force withdrew at around 6:00 on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 after arresting 4 civilians, including three women who were residents of the demolished house.
They were led to an unidentified place.
Three other civilians were injured during the incursion.
One of them is in critical condition, according to medical resources.

The arrested are Numan al-Hamidi, 21, Shirihan al-Hamidi, 19, Samar Abu Shabab, 19, Hanan al-Hamidi, 27, and Hanin Allouh, 19, who was injured in the attack.
The IOF released them at around 19:00 on Wednesday, 5 November 2008, except Hanin, who was admitted to an Israeli hospital.
She was released after a while and now receives treatment at Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir el-Balah.
