IOF Opens Fire towards Bird Catchers and Shepherds in Beit Hanoun

At around 8:00am on Monday, 24 November 2008, the IOF stationed on the eastern border line opened fire towards a group of bird catchers and shepherds, who were in al-Ahmar area to the east of Beit Hanoun.
One bird catcher sustained mild injuries according to medical resources at Beit Hanoun Hospital.
The injured person did not register his information and left quickly to retrieve his equipment from the scene.

Farmers, shepherds and bird catchers fled from the area after the shooting, leaving their equipment before finishing their work.
