According to preliminary information available to the Center, Mrs.

Al Mezan calls on the public prosecution to take all necessary steps to reveal the circumstances of this crime and to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Al Mezan stresses that the killing of women must be taken seriously and that in many cases, the framing of an incident as an ‘honor killing’ is used merely as a way for the perpetrators to escape punishment.
