At 6:20am on Thursday, 11 October 2018, Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishermen sailing off the coast of northwest Beit Lahia and detained two of them: Oday Al-Sultan, 27, and Saddam Al-Sultan, 25. Both are residents of Beit Lahia city in North Gaza district. The two were about one nautical mile into the sea when they were shot at and detained. The place of their detention is unknown.
