At 5:30pm on Wednesday, 19 September 2018, Israeli forces located to the east of the fence in east of Malaka area in east Al-Zaitoun neighborhood in east Gaza City fired live ammunition, plastic-coated steel bullets, and tear gas canisters on a group of Palestinians in the area. A number of them were injured; doctors said the casualties ranged in severity from light to moderate.
