At 8pm on Tuesday, 25 September 2018, Israeli forces located to the east of Burij refugee camp in the Middle Area district opened heavy fire on Palestinians joining the Great Return March demonstration in the east part of the camp. The Israeli shooting continued until about 11:30pm on the same day. No casualties were reported. Field-based medical teams provided the necessary treatment for demonstrators who suffered from breathing difficulties due to Israeli forces’ use of tear gas.
