At 5:45pm on Wednesday, 27 June 2018, Israeli forces opened fire at protesters joining the Great Return March demonstration organized near the fence between east Jabalia and Israel in North Gaza district. Two protesters, one of them a child, were injured. Adam Salem, 15, was shot with live fire in lower parts of his body. After his injury, three Israeli soldiers entered into the area and arrested Salem, taking him to an unknown destination. Ziad Abu Nada, 24, was hit in the head by shrapnel of live fire. Doctors at the Indonesia Hospital stated that Abu Nada’s wound was moderate.
