At 5:30pm on Monday, 2 April 2018, Israeli forces located on the southeastern borders of Al Shoka town in Rafah opened fire at protesters joining the “Great Return March” demonstration, called for by a national committee of Palestinian factions to mark Land Day. One youth was injured in his right leg; doctors at Abu Yousef Al Najjar hospital described his injury as moderate.
