1 April 2018
Short Link:
At 3:20pm on Sunday, 1 April 2018, Israeli forces located on the eastern borders of Khan Younis opened fire and tear-gassed a group of Palestinian protesters— youth and children— while they were 200 meters away from the fence and to the north of the “Return Camp” set in eastern Khuzaa town in eastern Khan Younis. Some of these protesters tried to approach the fence to throw stones at Israeli forces, which were located behind sand dunes about 100 away from the separation fence. In the meantime, Israeli forces opened fire and launched tear-gas canisters sporadically at the protesters, one of whom was shot in the head and thus rushed to the European Gaza Hospital, where his injury was diagnosed to be very critical.
