29 March 2018
Short Link:
At 4:30pm on Thursday, 29 March 2018, Israeli forces located on the eastern borders of Khan Younis opened fire and tear-gassed a group of Palestinian protesters— youth and children— while they were tens of meters away from the eastern border fence in Khuzaa town in eastern Khan Younis. Some of these protesters tried to approach the fence to throw stones at Israeli forces, which were located behind sand dunes about 100 away from the separation fence. Sporadically for three hours, in the meantime, Israeli forces opened fire and launched tear-gas canisters at the protesters, three of whom were injured, including two children hit by tear-gas canisters. The three casualties were taken to the European Gaza Hospital, where their injuries were assessed from light to moderate.
