31 March 2018
Short Link:
At 4:00pm on Saturday, 31 March 2018, Israeli forces located on the eastern borders of Khan Younis opened fire and tear-gassed a group of Palestinian protesters— youth and children— while they were 200 meters away from the fence and to the north of the “Return Camp” set in eastern Khuzaa town in eastern Khan Younis. Two Palestinians were injured when tear-gas canisters hit them in the head; both were taken to the European Gaza Hospital and their injuries were assessed to be light. Other protesters suffered from breathing difficulties due to Israeli use of tear gas.
