At 7:30am on Monday, 12 March 2018, Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishermen sailing off the coast of of Al Waha area to the northwest of Beit Lahia city in North Gaza governorate. Israeli forces opened fire again at 9:00am and chased a Palestinian fishing boat, forcing fishermen to stop their work and escape the sea in fear. No casualties were reported.
