At 03:30pm on Saturday, 3 February 2018, Israeli forces located on the eastern borders near Nahal Oz crossing, opened fire and launched tear gas canisters at a group of young Palestinians who demonstrated near the borders in Al Shujayya neighborhood, in eastern Gaza city. The demonstration was held in protest of the latest U.S. decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Shooting continued until 06:00pm on the same day. No injuries were reported.
