At 9:15pm on Friday, 08 December 2017, Israeli air force fired five rockets at a military training site of a Palestinian faction, eastern Al Sheikh Zayed area, in Beit Lahiya in North Gaza governorate. As a result, Maher Mohammed Mohammed Atallah, 54, died due to a cardiac arrest and bruises in his body and 21 persons were injured including 7 children and 4 women. The bombing caused severe damages in the site and the neighboring houses and schools.
Medical sources in the Indonesian Hospital described the wounds as moderate and some are serious.
