At approximately 11:00 am on Monday, 13 March 2017, unexploded ordnance left by the Israeli occupation forces was exploded and injured Fares Givara Abu Rijil, 22.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Abu Rijil collects remnants of iron and scraps and then sells them. He was near the eastern separation fence in the vicinity of Malaka area eastern Al Zaitoun neighborhood, eastern Gaza City when he was injured. Abu Rijil was injured in his right hand. Medical sources at Shifa Hospital described his injury as light.
