At approximately 8:00 am on Thursday, 12 January 2017, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats, western Al Sudaneya, west of Jabaliya in northern Gaza district. As a result, fishermen abandoned their work and sailed back to the beach. No injuries or causalities were reported.
