At approximately 8:30 an on Friday, 3 June 2016, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were in the Gaza sea of Al Waha area west Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district. The Israeli gunboats pursued fishermen boats to stop them and arrest them. An Israeli gunboat pursued a Palestinian fishing boat, but it managed to escape and leave the place. Fishermen as a result abandoned their work and left the area. No injuries or causalities were reported.
