In the early morning hours on Tuesday, 31 May 2016, Ministry of Interior in Gaza announced the execution of three convicted persons after exhausting the due procedures. The executions were implemented against M.E., convicted of killing Abed Al Qader Ibrahim Barhoum, and E.Sh. convicted of killing E’lyan Mohammed Al Telbani from Khan Younis.
The third convicted person was A.Sh., 41, resident of Khan Younis, who was a member in the security apparatus, was sentenced to death by shooting. He was charged of killing with premeditation in violation of Article (378/B and 124) of the Penal Code in 1979.
