At approximately 3:00 am on Tuesday, 19 January 2016, armed men opened fire ata civil white Mercedes car while it was travelling at the end of Hamad St. north of Beit Hanoun in North Gaza district. As a result, Nojoud Hamad, 38, sustained a bullet wound in her left leg. Medical sources at Beit Hanoun Hospital described her injury as moderate.
