“Ibrahim liked food very much and he would come to the kitchen to help me and check on the cooking. He was funny and liked joking,” his mother said. Ibrahim’s uncle had a yard where they played chess, and at prayer times, they would stop and go to pray.
Fifteen-year-old Ibrahim from Qizan Alnajjar in Khan Younis was targeted with an Israeli missile - along with his brothers - when they were on their way to get their hair cut for the Eid holiday. “Ibrahim’s younger brother told me that Ibrahim and Omar's bodies were lying in the street and then that they were taken to a hospital in civilian cars,” said Ibrahim’s mother. Ibrahim sustained injuries to the head and eye and his condition was critical. He was transferred to a hospital in Jerusalem on 29 July, and after three days, he died at the age of sixteen.
