Walaa from Wadee Al Ajeen, Deir Al Balah, in the middle of the Gaza Strip was an outstanding student at school. She liked to fast a couple of days every week. Her hobby was drawing, especially birds. Her ambition was to be a lawyer in the future. “I looked for Walaa’s body for several days, but I couldn’t find it. Her body was scattered,” said her father.
“We evacuated our house, and during the truce, my children returned to our home to bring back their new clothes. An intense and continuous shelling was conducted by Israeli forces. Walaa was killed instantly. She was fourteen,” her father said.
