On 27 July 2014, Israeli tanks were randomly attacking residential houses. As a result, Maydaa’s house was hit by a missile. Maydaa’s mother was carrying her when the missile hit the home. Maydaa hit the ground, then suffering from internal bleeding. In the morning hours of Monday, 11 August 2014, medical sources at Al Naser Hospital in Gaza City announced the death of Maydaa Aslan, 45 days old, from injuries sustained during the attack.
The family did not want to talk to Al Mezan’s field worker about Maydaa’.
