“Toqa was so young when she was killed,” says her grandmother.
At 12:40 pm on 29 July 2014, the Abu Jaber family's house was bombarded by Israeli forces without warning. Nineteen people were immediately killed, including Toqa who was five months old. Many others were seriously injured. “It took more than 24 hours to recover the bodies from beneath the rubble,” said her grandmother Haniah who is 75.
