On Thursday, 30 April 2015, the Internal Security Apparatus in Khan Younis summoned journalist Mohammed Khalil Salama Abu Fayyad, editor in the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa”. He was not at the house, so his brother Salama received the summon document. On Tuesday, 4 May 2015, Mohammed Abu Fayyad presented himself at the apparatus office as scheduled in the summon document. He was detained at 9:00 am until 2:30 pm. He was interrogated about his posts_en on his Facebook account. Abu Fayyad stated to Al Mezan that he was humiliated and threatened while he was detained, and that he was forced to sign a document not to post anything against Hamas movement.
