At approximately 9:00 am on Wednesday 18 June 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested patient Bassel Ali Ahmed Abu Hassan, 42, at Erez crossing while he was on his way to Jordan for treatment.
Abu Hassan suffers from cartilage in his neck.
In her affidavit to Al Mezan, his mother stated that at approximately 8:30 on Wednesday 18 June 2014, she received a call from a person from the Israeli security authorities informing her that Bassel is arrested at Ashkelon prison.
