IOF Opens Fire at Palestinian Fishermen and Injures Two North of Gaza District

At approximately 6:30 pm on Tuesday 6 May 2014, big Israeli gunboat attacked a small Palestinian boat carrying 15 fishermen from the Baker family while it was in the Sea west Al Waha area-near the maritime borders- west of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district.
The gunboat surrounded the small boat and kept rolling around it quickly making artificial waves.
As a result, the boat partially drowned and two fishermen were injured: Bayan Khamees Subhi Baker, 19, and Omran Mohammed Sobhi Baker, 18, residents of the northern Remal area.
They sustained bruises and they were referred to Al Shifa hospital in Gaza.
