At approximately 5:00 am on Saturday 3 May 2014, medical sources at Gaza European Hospital announced the death of Nael Kamel Awad Abu Daqqa, 34, resident of Bani Soheela east of Khan Younis, from wounds he had sustained.
At approximately 9:45 am on Thursday 10 April 2014, Abu Daqqa was assaulted by another person by a sharp tool while he was with Mohammed Zu’rub near Barquq castle in the center of Khan Younis city.
Abu Daqqa sustained wounds in his neck and back.
He was referred to Gaza European Hospital due his critical health situation.
Mohammed Shawqi Zu’rub, 53, sustained wounds in his neck.
His injury was described as moderate.
A police force arrived at the scene and opened an investigation into the incident, and arrested the suspected, who suffers from mental disorder.
