At approximately 3:15 pm on Friday 20 December 2013, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at Owda Jehad Owda Hamad, 27, who was along with his brother in the solid waste dump area near the borders north of Beit Hanoun in North Gaza district.
At approximately 4:20 pm on Friday evening, Israeli side allowed a Palestinian ambulance to enter the area and carry him to Beit Hanoun Hospital.
Medical sources pronounced his death due to a bullet in the head.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Ahmed and his brother were their collecting iron scrap from the solid waste dump.
