At approximately 2:00 am on Friday 1 November 2013, unknown persons broke into the Palestinian Businessmen Association headquarter which is located opposite Al Azhar University in the Gaza city, and sat fire to the office.
This attack resulted in a big fire inside.
Civil defense fire engines arrived at the place and managed to put the fire out.
According to Al Mezan’s field information, the assailants stole a sum of money estimated at ($10,000) from the association office.
This attack resulted in intensive material damage, as the fire affected the furniture, offices, computers, fax, camera, printer, and five air condition units.
The police arrived to the place, and opened an investigation about the incident.
It’s worth noting that the association was established in 1994 and it contains 200 members.
