At approximately 11:30 am on Sunday 11 August 2013, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at Palestinian farmers who were about 400 meters away from the separation fence between Gaza Strip and Israel east of Al Sheja’iya neighborhood east of Gaza city.
As a result, Hamada Samir Jendiya, 21, was injured.
In his affidavit to Al Mezan, Hamada stated: “I went to work at my uncle’s land along with three other farmers.
Ten minutes later, I heard firing and felt pain in my left leg and fall on the ground.
I was fainted and when I woke up I found myself in Shifa hospital.
I received medical treatment and left the hospital at 6:00 pm on the same day.
”
