At around 06:15 am on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, Israeli warships opened fire and used water cannons on Palestinian fishing boats northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
As a result, one boat, that was at a distance of four nautical miles from shore, sustained damage.
