Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), backed by several military vehicles, launched an incursion into the Gaza Strip at approximately 9:20 am on Tuesday 10 July 2012.
The force, setting out from Kissufim checkpoint, advanced an estimated 300 meters past the border to the northeast of Al Qararah village, East of Khan Younis.
The vehicles then headed south for approximately 1500 meters, in the direction of New ‘Abasan village.
The operation was accompanied by sporadic gunfire.
Bulldozers accompanying the military force undertook land leveling operations along the border.
At around 12:30 pm, the IOF redeployed back beyond the border east of Khan Younis.
