According to initial information available to Al Mezan, at approximately 3:00 pm on Wednesday 27 June 2012, Abdel Rahman Zuhair Rayyan, 22, was killed while he was on duty in the control room at the runway in the Ansar security compound in western Gaza City. He died due to an accident while he was cleaning his weapon. The bullet entered his neck and exited from the head. He was from Jabaliya refugee camp and worked as an officer in the security forces.
