At approximately 11:30 am on Thursday 14 June 2012, masked and armed men broke into the house of the lawyer Hussam Hussein Yousif, 30, near Qasser Al Wouroud wedding hall in the Mashrou’ Amer area of western Jabaliya, North Gaza district.
They searched his office on the ground and second floors and upended its contents.
At approximately 11:50 pm at night on the same date, the same gunmen opened fire at Yousif as he was arriving at his home.
They proceeded to beat him and steal his car before leaving the scene.
In her affidavit to Al Mezan, Yousif’s wife, Warda Al Anqar, stated that the armed men also stole 10,000 dollars and several documents from her husband.
