At approximately 2:30 pm on Tuesday 29 May 2012, an Israeli aircraft opened fire and dropped a flare bomb on a wheat field southeast of Wadi-As-Salqa village, to the southeast of Deir Al Balah.
The field was damaged by fire as a result.
The affected land, which belongs to Salama Suliman Abu Swaween, 52, is 2,000 square meters in area and is located about 900 meters away from the separation fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
The Abu Swaween family managed to put out fire.
The incident coincided with a limited Israeli incursion into Al Qarara village.
