At approximately 8:20 pm on Sunday 6 May 2012, a family feud erupted in Rafah; four persons were injured as a result.
Al Mezan has identified them as:
· Mohammed Salim Abu Shalouf, 18, sustained a bullet wound in the right shoulder;
· His father Salim Mohammed Abu Shalouf, 43, sustained a bullet wound in the left hand;
· Mohammed Ishtiwi Salim Abu Shalouf, 37, sustained a bullet wound in the right hand; and
· Sa’eed Khader Sheikh Al Eid, 23, sustained a bullet wound in the back.
They were injured while they were inside the house of Salim Abu Shalouf.
Medical sources at Abu Yousif An-Najjar Hospital described the injuries of the first three men as moderate.
Al Eid was admitted to the European Gaza Hospital, where his injury was described as critical.
Five other persons were also injured in beatings.
The police arrived at the scene of the incident and arrested a number of the feuding family members for interrogation
