At approximately 5:20 am on Wednesday 18 April 2012, a civil defense team recovered Rami Faiys Ad-Dali, 34, from Khan Younis, after he had fallen down a tunnel shaft on the Gaza-Egypt border, in the Al Brazil neighborhood south of Rafah. He was admitted to Abu Yousif An-Najjar Hospital in Rafah, then referred to Gaza European Hospital in Khan Younis due to his critical medical condition.
