At approximately 4:00 pm on Saturday 31 March 2012, four persons were injured when an unknown device exploded as they were collecting iron scrap near Raba’a Al ‘Adawiya Secondary School, in western Rafah near the border with Egypt. They were admitted to Abu Yousif An-Najjar Hospital. Al Mezan has identified the four as: Ahmed Attiya Bali, 33, from Beit Hanoun; Mahmoud Nasser Al Yazji, 23, from Gaza City; Mohammed Ahmed Abu Irjela, 19, from Khan Younis; and Raed Ibrahim Qdeeh, 27, from Khan Younis
