At approximately 5:30 am on Wednesday 21 March 2012, five Israeli tanks accompanied by armored bulldozers moved about 150 meters into the agricultural area north As-Siafa, northwest of Beit Lahiya, North Gaza district.
The Israeli bulldozers leveled lands that have frequently been razed before.
At approximately 6:30 am on the same day, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at Palestinian farmers who had come to tend their lands.
No casualties or injuries were reported, but the shooting forced the farmers to abandon their fields.
At approximately 9:00 am on the same day, the IOF withdrew from the area.
