At approximately 8:00 am on Sunday 4 March 2012, the water level of the Wadi Gaza stream rose due to the large amounts of rain that have fallen recently.
The rising water level has cut movement between the northern part of Wadi Gaza (Az-Zahra city and Al Mughraqa village) and An-Nuseirat refugee camp.
This has caused substantial suffering, particularly among school students.
The bridge which people used to use in such situations was previously destroyed by Israeli Occupation Forces.
The concerned governmental bodies are currently erecting a new bridge to solve this problem.
