In the evening hours on Monday 20 February 2012, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Sameeh Mahmoud Abdullah ‘Ayyad, 22, from Ash-Shaja’iyah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, at approximately 10:00 am on Monday 20 February 2012, ‘Ayyad left his house and did not return. According to information obtained by Al Mezan’s legal assistance unit, ‘Ayyad is detained in Ashkelon prison.
