At approximately 3:15 am on Tuesday 7 February 2012, unknown persons detonated an explosive device at the door of Al Kamal Men’s Clothing Showroom, a store owned by Zuhair Hasan Yousif Redwan, 55, located near Al Awda mosque in the Jabaliya refugee camp market in North Gaza district.
As a result, the store, the owner’s house, a sewing shop, and a furniture store sustained severe physical damage.
Another three adjacent shops and three nearby houses sustained light damages.
The explosion took place in a densely populated area.
The sound of the explosion was extremely loud and people in the area were terrified, particularly children.
