In the morning hours of Thursday, 1 December 2011, staff at Al Quds University branches in the Gaza Strip began a strike in protest of the presence of police forces on the campuses of the university’s branches in the Gaza Strip. The police entered campuses of Al Quds University on Wednesday, 30 November 2011, without the agreement of university’s administration.
