At approximately 18:30 on Sunday, 13 November 2011, three persons sustained bullet wounds and were admitted to Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al Balah following a family feud.
A group of young men set fire on the house of ‘Alaa Hussein Al Louh, 36, located in the east of Deir Al Balah.
Another nearby, two-story house belonging to Mustafa Khamis Al Louh, 55, also sustained damage in the fire.
Police arrived at the scene of the incident and dispersed people.
Gun fire was also heard at the site of the incident and as a result, three persons were injured.
Al Mezan identified them as follows:
· Mohammed Mahmoud Al Msaddar, 18; sustained a bullet wound in the right shoulder;
· Mu’men Abdel Kareem Abu Hamam, 18, sustained a bullet wound in the left leg, and
· Hussein Majdi Abu Ghazala, 19, sustained a bullet wound in the right thigh.
This incident followed a similar incident the previous evening where, at approximately 19:00 on Saturday, 12 November 2011, a two-storey house was burnt.
As a result, the house was partially damaged.
At time of publication, it was reported that the police were still at the scene.
