At approximately 4:30 am on Wednesday 28 September 2011, Israeli naval vessels patrolling the Gaza sea opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of As-Sudaniya area, west of Beit Lahiya, in North Gaza district.
As a result, the fishermen were terrified and sailed to land immediately.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
